Well ok not all girls............I have had the same best friend since the 5th grade. I trust her and love her dearly. She has seen me through the good and bad, the happy and sad and through the days of self pitty and the days of self indulgence. She listens to my rants and raves... I dragged her to many a concerts and many a bars. She picked me up from random hotels and dealt with all my drama. She was the only one at my wedding and the first to visit after the birth of my children. She saved me after my divorce and shares in my excitement of new love and new adventures.
I am soo glad I am not a girl anymore....

...exactly why I loved turning 30....although, when you become a mom, it kind of becomes like highschool all over again--all the moms checking out who's pushing what stroller, playgroups get cliquey, etc., etc.. Sucks, that.

Funny, while a bunch of us were hanging out the other night a friend of mine's girlfriend expressed her displeasure that us fellas are constantly busting each other's humps and breaking each other's balls. At least we're doing it in the name of good clean fun. It's nice to know women are meaner to each other than us men are.

Yeah, I've met girls that are all of those things. I also have a best friend who I have seen through a lot of hard shit and she has seen me through a lot of it. I know she has my back. She is completely non judgemental and knows me well enough to call me on bullshit. I am glad you have a friend like that too.
